Precautions and Warnings:

Before beginning treatment with Xarelto 10mg Tablet, it is important to discuss any previous or ongoing medical conditions, allergies, or medications with your doctor. Your physician will be able to evaluate the appropriateness of this medication for you and make any necessary adjustments to the dosage if it is determined that it is necessary. The following is a list of important warnings and precautions associated with the use of Xarelto 10mg Tablet:

-Xarelto is associated with an increased risk of bleeding, which is a potentially life-threatening condition that can have serious consequences. Notify your physician if you have a history of bleeding disorders, if you have recently undergone surgery, if you suffer from gastrointestinal ulcers, or if you have any other condition that may increase the risk of bleeding.

-Patients Undergoing Spinal or Epidural Anaesthesia: Xarelto should be used with caution in patients who are undergoing spinal or epidural anaesthesia or spinal puncture, as it may increase the risk of bleeding in the spinal or epidural space. Patients Undergoing Spinal Puncture: Xarelto should be used with caution in patients who are undergoing spinal puncture.

-Impairment of Liver and Kidney Function: Xarelto should be used with extreme caution in patients who have either liver or kidney function that is impaired. Your specific condition may require your doctor to recommend a different dosage than what was originally prescribed.

-Interactions with Other Medications: There is a possibility that Xarelto will interact negatively with other medications, including some antibiotics, antifungal drugs, anticoagulants, and antiplatelet drugs. Talk to your primary care physician about any and all medications you’re currently taking to head off any adverse drug reactions.

-Xarelto is not recommended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding due to the potential for serious bleeding complications. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to become pregnant, you should discuss potential alternatives to your current treatment plan with your doctor.
